Rodney Herenton is the Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Channing Capital Management. Rodney has more than 16 years of investment management experience, including first vice-president of the Private Fund Group at Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. He was also an associate in the Investment Banking Department at Bear Stearns, where he was responsible for M&A deal execution, and equity and high-yield bond transactions, and he was an associate in the Corporate Finance Department at Lehman Brothers. Rodney received a B.A. in finance from Morehouse College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. In our interview, we speak with Rodney about starting a finance career in your 20s.
