The inTheir20s podcast was created in March 2020 by best friends and college roommates Landon Campbell and Michael Holmes.
The duo was approaching college graduation during the global pandemic, and felt it was necessary to help their peers fight through uncertainty. Instead of sharing their own advice, Michael and Landon felt it would be best to interview influential people to share their advice for 20-somethings. Their first episode went live in June 2020.
Shortly after launching, inTheir20s became a huge success, being cited as the go-to podcast for people in their 20s. Since day one, inTheir20s has interviewed leaders from a wide array of industries including business, technology, music, sports, media, and more.
In April 2021, co-host Michael Holmes passed away at the young age of 22 from rare brain cancer called astrocytoma. The cancer was aggressive and Michael lost his life fiercely battling the diagnosis after only 30 days. He was a fighter – a frequently seen trait in Michael – no matter the outcome he gave everything his all. He may have lost his life to this incurable disease but his legacy will live on. He will forever be at the heart of inTheir20s.
